Websites
I
wrote the website copy to help this client launch a
new product: picos, which are small, focused web
applets. For maximum impact, I wrote the user
stories as if they were snapshots from a day in the
life of Suzanne, John and Karin respectively. Using
this approach makes the user stories more personal
and authentic, and therefore more powerful.

White Papers
I
wrote this white paper for British Telecom and
my client was extremely happy with my work and our
collaboration.
Aside from being
well-researched and written, the white paper
"Customer Experience: Hype or Help?" really speaks
to the concerns and "straight to the point" style of the audience: senior managers.
I put in extra effort
to come up with ways to make the white paper more
appealing. For example, I devised the
interactive assessment "How Good Is Your
Organization's Customer Experience?". People love to
take assessments to see how they measure up vis ŕ
vis others. I also suggested several of the graphics
that my client used.

I
was instrumental in the creation of the research
note: "Issues with user-centered design of mobile
solutions". The research note targeted product
creators in multiple industries. Without directly
selling, it effectively positioned my client as
experts in human-factors design. Having my finger on
the pulse of the hi-tech industry helped me to write
copy that succinctly communicated the client's
message.

Brochures
I
re-wrote this brochure for a semiconductor design
firm. Written by engineers, the brochure needed to
be reworked for clarity and maximum effectiveness.
Having worked in hi-tech marketing for more than 10
years, I was able to take complex language and
transform it into powerful benefit laden copy that
gets results.

Newsletters
I've been working for
Namahn for several years. They help companies
improve the usability of their digital products
(software, consoles, kiosks, etc.). One of the
primary marketing methods used by Namahn is live
presentations. In order to multi-purpose the
information from these speaker series, I extract the
essential information and present it in an
entertaining way.
